Mountain River House is a vacation home within the Karoo where the house rests at the base of a rugged spekboom-covered hill and appears to float on a rock ledge. It’s magnificently created with views to optimise the dramatically beautiful surroundings.
02. LOGO DESIGN BRIEF
The client requested that the logo of this breathtaking guest house would need to portray the essence of its surroundings.

The icon is an illustration that was extracted from two of the reference images received in order to leave a warm, refreshing, yet “homely” feeling within customers who view the vacation home. It is an icon that could be seen as timeless yet rare; peaceful yet rustic to embody the overall experience and surroundings within nature that customers may endevour.
The sans serif font style as well as the script font style used within the main text compliments the icon as it is more softer, luxurious and elegant to indicate the essence of the house.
The colour combination is a subtle mix of the wonders of nature and the location of the vacation home – earthy colour tones.
Arinttika Signature is a natural and stylish signature font with a sense of elegant souls.
Montserrat Font is a sans-serif typeface that is considered another appealing and worth-using family of sans serif.
The colours are a subtle combination of earthy colour tones.
