Signature Shower Dezigns was an existing brand, however they approached us at Circle Media to rebrand their identity accompanied by a website redesign and SEO implementation. 

INITIAL WEBSITE STATUS

Our client had an existing website, however, it lacked crucial elements for effective digital marketing. They had also established a Google Business profile already and had all their social media accounts set up which could be leveraged to support the web design and SEO strategy project, improving brand awareness and driving traffic to the revamped website.

However, a few very important digital marketing tools were not yet being utilised:

  • No Google Analytics account: this made it challenging to track and analyze website performance
  • No Google Search Console set up: this meant missed opportunities for monitoring search engine visibility and identifying potential issues.
  • No existing search engine optimization (SEO) strategy: this affected their website’s organic visibility and rankings on search engine result pages. 

Overall, Signature Shower Dezigns’ initial web status highlighted the need for a new, comprehensive web design and SEO improvements. By addressing the absence of essential web components and implementing an effective SEO strategy, the client had the potential to enhance their online presence, increase visibility, and drive organic traffic to their website.

Signature Shower Dezigns had set a few primary goals for their web design and SEO strategy project:

1. To promote online presence and increase brand awareness in the shower door industry:

Their objective was to establish a strong and recognisable brand that would set them apart from competitors. To achieve this, the company planned to implement effective digital marketing techniques, including search engine optimization.

2. To increase customer acquisition by 20% within a 12-month period, starting from February 2023: 

To accomplish this objective, we focused on developing a user-friendly website that would enhance the client base and improve the overall customer experience.

By optimizing the website’s navigation, layout, and content, we sought to create a seamless interface that would encourage potential customers to reach out and inquire about their services. This customer-centric approach aimed to not only attract more leads but also convert them into paying customers, ultimately driving business growth.

SEO STRATEGY

The primary objective for Signature Shower Dezigns was to establish a full SEO strategy for their new website, aiming to increase website traffic, achieve higher rankings for relevant keywords, and enhance overall brand visibility.

  1. The first step was to register a new domain specifically for the newly designed site, ensuring a fresh start and optimal performance in search engine results.
  2. Thorough keyword research and competitor analysis was conducted to get a good baseline for the SEO strategy. This process involved identifying relevant keywords and analyzing competitor websites to gain insights and develop a strategic approach.
  3. With this knowledge, we could create engaging and optimized content that would resonate with the target audience while incorporating identified keywords.
  4. On-page SEO was our next step to enhance the website’s visibility to search engines. This included optimizing meta tags, headers, and URLs, as well as improving internal and external linking structures.
  5. Technical SEO improvements were also carried out, addressing issues such as site speed, mobile responsiveness, and XML sitemap generation. These measures aimed to improve the website’s overall search engine friendliness and provide a seamless user experience.
  6. We then finally set up Google Analytics and Search Console profiles for our client which would allow us to monitor website performance, track user behavior, and identify opportunities for further optimization.

PROGRESS, MILESTONES AND DATA ANALYTICS

In the first 3 months of Signature Shower Dezigns’ website being live and the implementation of the targeted SEO strategy, we have seen a lot of growth and positive analytics results to report on. We use a few platforms to monitor and track the growth and performance, namely Google Analytics, Search Console, Rank Math and SEMRush.

  • The site audit shows a site health of 96% with only 3 errors being highlighted. These errors speak mainly to load speed which we monitor and optimise each month.

  • The website’s visibility has grown to 26% with their average position moving up to 34, and the domain authority has increased to 2 where it started at 0 in February. The table below shows the changes in performance and website growth from March to May.

Overall, Signature Shower Dezigns website is seeing positive results, with increases search engine rankings and overall performance. Our SEO strategy is proving to be successful thus far and the agency will continue to monitor the site’s performance.

CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS

We encountered a few challenges during the implementation of the web design and SEO strategy project that required effective solutions:

1. After the website had been live for about a month, it became evident that there was room for improvement on the homepage to ensure a positive first impression and user-friendly interface. Recognizing the significance of this page as the entry point for visitors, the we recommended a homepage redesign to our client, specifically focused on enhancing the user experience. This redesigned aimed to create a visually appealing and intuitive layout, encouraging visitors to explore the site further and engage with the content.

2. We discovered incorrect domain links on their social media platforms and other online channels. To address this issue, we promptly rectified the incorrect links and ensured that all profiles were updated with the new domain link. This solution helped to prevent any potential loss of traffic or confusion among users trying to access the website.

3. An ongoing challenge we are facing is that the client is operating within a highly competitive industry. To address this, we implemented a strategic link-building strategy and spent extra time on the on-page and technical SEO details. We are still in the process of identifying authoritative websites and industry-specific directories that could potentially provide backlinks to the Signature Shower Dezigns website to improve their search engine rankings and increase its overall visibility in the competitive landscape.
